1. Main Menu - the main menu is always displayed at the top of any WV Scene page so you can go to any of section of the site easily.
2. Active Forum Topics - the latest forum topics and active threads are displayed as they happen. If you find the topic interesting, feel free to join the discussion.
3. WV Scene News and Announcements - site news and announcements are displayed here. New event galleries will be announced as they are created.
4. Latest Ads - the newest ads from the classifieds section are displayed here.
5. Member Login - members can login directly from the main page. This block also notifies the member if he/she has a new private message waiting, as well as other personal site messages that needs his/her attention.
6. WV Local News - displays the latest WV news in the last 15 minutes.
7. WV Local Weather - displays the current weather condition from WCHS-TV. This updates every 10 minutes.
8. WV Upcoming Events - displays the upcoming events as listed at The Gazz.
9. Latest from WV Bloggers - displays the latest blog entries from WV Scene and other WV bloggers. This updates every 30 minutes.
10. Movie Showtimes - lists the movie schedules from the four popular WV theaters. The schedule updates daily.
